The term "Missionary" comes from the "Great Commission" that Jesus Christ charged his disciples by sending them to All Nations, to make new disciples, and by teaching them to obey the commands he had modeled for them. If Jesus is your savior, then you have been commissioned and given full authority to share the "Good News" of salvation through Jesus Christ.     Matthew 28:19
